This 20 year old dining table was not versatile enough and no longer matched the homeowners tastes. The dining room is rarely used and in need of a makeover. When it is used, it needs to accommodate anywhere from 10 - 16 people. My goal is to have this room used throughout the year and accommodate a crowd. The square room was calling for a round table. The walls were calling for a statement color. I redesigned the room so that the family will be comfortable using it with just a few people dining and so that it will fit a larger crowd. The style is metropolitan and the budget is less than $6,000!

Having a vision of how to sit four people, six people, 10 people and 16 people was what this homeowner needed. That, and a shopping list that came in on budget. We added a 48” folding table to use for crowds of 16.

Paneled curtains were found at West Elm and the rug, chandelier, table and dining chairs were found online as well, saving hours of shopping and lots of money on a room they did not want to spend too much on.

Paint color is Benjamin Moore Old Navy.

This project is in the works and I will update with the finished photos as soon as the project is finished.
